The fashion show " Bald is beautiful " took place on the 2. of June 2013.
It trembled with joy and admiration of the many spectators in the beautiful Axelborg, when the 20 tough and bald women dressed in exquisite designs walked the catwalk with a confident step.
Prior to that, the room has been filled with beautiful voices from the musicians Dicte and Bobo Moreno. The researchers Niels Brunner Henrik Ditzel had told about the research with breast cancer, all presented by Søs Egelind who had gived her personal and humorous touch to the show.
The Catwalk was decorated with beautiful flower arrangements by Annette von Einem , and DJ Nicoline Toft played great sound for the women walking down the catwalk. All to make this year's " Bald is beautiful " to a formidable afternoon and a touching experience.
The purpose of the " Bald is beautiful " is to raise money for research with breast cancer and to highlight the fact that, women are still beautiful even if they are bald. And it succeeded, while there were gathered around 200,000 kr. into the research.
